Breaking News Updates: All Rajasthan cabinet ministers tender resignation

Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways and AYUSH, Sarbananda Sonowal announced a slew of initiatives in Arunachal Pradesh for the promotion of AYUSH. Speaking at an event held at the North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda and Folk Medicine Research (NEIFM) in Pasighat, the Union Minister also announced the establishment of an Ayurveda hospital and college at Pasighat in East Siang district.

Indian Navy dropped relief materials in various flood-hit regions of Kadapa district, Andhra Pradesh. A new feature “Know Your Vaccination Status” has been enabled on the CoWIN digital platform. This will help to verify/retrieve a citizen’s vaccination status/details as per the authorised rights of the verifying entity by Co-WIN/MoHFW, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare informed. 

The Ministry further informed that the service could be utilized by a service provider (private entities like travel agencies, offices, employers, entertainment agencies etc or government agencies like IRCTC, Govt offices etc.) for facilitating a service requested by the citizen.

After welcoming the union government's decision to repeal the three contentious agrarian laws, the Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM), an umbrella body of the farmer unions, has called for its core committee meetings on Saturday and Sunday. The meetings are said to hold discussions on the committee's future course of action. In the latest update from Saturday's meeting, it is being said that no final decision has been taken today and the core committee has called for another meeting on Sunday at 1 PM.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a chargesheet against Anand Giri and others in connection to the suicide case of Mahant Narendra Giri. On September 21, Mahant Narendra Giri was found hanging in suspicious circumstances in Baghambari Math.

According to Aryan Khan's bail order released by Bombay High Court, "No material on record to infer that Applicants hatched a conspiracy to commit offence. At this stage, difficult to infer that Applicants are involved in offence of commercial quantity".

It further stated, "Hardly any positive evidence on record to convince that all accused with common intention agreed to commit an unlawful act. Investigation till this date suggests that Applicants 1 & 2 were travelling independent of Applicant 3 & there was no meeting of minds on the issue".

Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind president Maulana Arshad Madani told reporters, "We congratulate the farmers who continued their protest bravely, Similarly, we want Govt to roll back the Act that is going to hurt Muslims. They too are citizens of India just like others. If they're affected, the Govt should feel it in a similar manner".

Jyoti Nainwal, the wife of Martyr Naik Deepak Nainwal, was commissioned in the Indian Army. Naik Nainwal had died in an operation in J&K, in 2018. 

Jyoti Nainwal told ANI, "I'd like to thank my husband's regiment. They stand with me at every step & treat me like a daughter. For brave women, I'd like to become a mother not for 'Janm' (birth) but for 'Karm' (deed), & whatever I live for, will be a gift to my children".

Congress has decided to celebrate the repeal of the farm laws and asked its local state units to organise Kisan Vijay rallies and related political programmes across the country today.

In a letter to the party's state unit chiefs, K C Venugopal said the repeal of the three "draconian" farm laws is a victory of the farmers and a result of farmers' protests, their sacrifices and the yearlong uncompromising fight of a united opposition led by the Congress party and Rahul Gandhi.

Social media platforms Facebook and Instagram appear to have suffered an outage yet again as users are facing difficulties in accessing the pages and uploading to them, on Friday evening.
